The 2 mm lead is perfect for those that find themselves breaking thin leads on other mechanical pencils by Penco. The outer casing is painted wood (Incense cedar from USA). The lead included is B grade, slightly soft, so it glides on even the roughest of paperstock. Comes with a sharpener, so you can keep a sharp point on your tip! A fine example of Japanese stationery.
