A Guide to Danish Architecture - Towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals. FREE EPUB

Can we build our way to a better world? The UN's Sustainable Development Goals provide a shared roadmap towards a more sustainable future. Architecture and the built environment play a crucial role, both in the challenges we face and the solutions we need to achieve the Goals. Architects can help change the way we use the Earth's limited resources as we develop, renovate and transform future buildings, cities, landscapes, and infrastructure. 'A Guide to Danish Architecture – Towards the UN Sustainable Development Goals' presents 60 recent Danish architectural projects that, in each their own way, contribute to building stronger communities, improving the quality of life, and creating a more sustainable future for all.

The book, curated by members of the Danish Association of Architects, is published in conjunction with the UIA World Congress of Architects 2023 in Copenhagen. It features cases presented in seven chapters, each corresponding to the local chapters of the Association: Copenhagen, the Islands, Bornholm, Southern Jutland, Western Jutland, Eastern Jutland, and Northern Jutland.
