These Danish female designers, architects, landscape architects and planners often collaborated in various constellations and networks rather than working individually. And their works tell us a hitherto unknown part of the history of the materialisation of the 20th century Danish Welfare state.

byWomen reveals 50 works known as unknown from the Greater Copenhagen region – all designed by women. Besides introduction, photos, and anecdotes, the book works as a guide too offering a map, addresses, and registers.
