Makoto Koizumi
Born in Tokyo in 1960. Makoto Koizumi studied under designers Choei Hara and Shigemitsu Hara. His studio is a space where he is responsible for the designs that concerns all aspects of life from architecture to chopstick holders. The professor of Musashino Art University. 2012 mainichi design award. He has published 'The Essence of Design' (2003), 'To/to' (2005), 'Monogatari' and 'The Essence of Materials'.
