Lamy Aion Fyldepen

The smooth deep-drawn aluminium body components of the Lamy Aion are the first of their kind and give the series a unique, harmonious appearance. Brushed and blasted surfaces are refined with a brilliant silk-matt anodic coating finish, creating formal tension. The sturdy high gloss polished clip perfectly rounds off the overall design. Designed by Jasper Morrison.

The Lamy Aion fountain pen has a stainless steel nib (with optional 14kt gold nib) and it use a cartridge/converter (Lamy Z27 converter) filling mechanism.

Lamy is an independent family-owned enterprise which was established in 1930 by , former Parker employee, C. Josef Lamy in Heidelberg. The Lamy brand has existed since 1952 and proved its innovative prowess in the very first year with the completely novel Lamy 27 fountain pen series. And in 1966 the distinctive style of Lamy Design was born with the Lamy 2000.

Jasper Morrison

English product and furniture designer. Awarded honorary doctorate in Design from Kingstone University (2007). In review of Morrison’s 2015 exhibition Thingness at Le Grand-Hornu, the design critic Alice Rawsthorn writes: ”Mr. Morrison, 55, is one of the most influential product designers of our time. Morrison was appointed Commander of the Order of the British Empire (CBE) in the 2020 Birthday Honours for services to design.

Morrison’s work has been exhibited in leading designmuseums and galleries around the world. In 2016, Jasper Morrison was named ’Designer of the Year’ by the German A&Warchitektur & Wohnen for his ’important role in shaping the contemporary world of design’.
