Japanese Teapot Set - Blue- Hakusan M-Type Series. Teapot, sugar pot and creamer, The M-type series was created in 1973 and won the Good Design Award in the same year.

This set was designed to fit in with the modernized dining tables of the high-growth era.

The pot, sugar pot and creamer can be stacked. The teapot has a tea strainer inside so that you can just add tea leaves and hot water, and pour directly to your cup.

(Characteristic) Porcelain:
*Fushi-yaki

In most cases, the pots are fired with the base face down, so that the edges where the mouth touches the pot are glazed and smooth.
In the case of fuseyaki, as the name implies, the pot is fired face down, so glaze cannot be applied to the edge, and the piece has a slightly rough texture compared to a glazed piece.
After firing, the surface is polished to make it smooth, so there is no problem in using it.
This is one of the firing methods and is not considered a "B" product.
